I'm a research scientist at NAVWAR Point Loma in San Diego. I am the director of a small lab (NeuroML) where we support the DoD mission and resolve to distill new knowledge from computational neuroscience.
I completed my MS in Computer Science at Georgia Tech with advisor Prof. David Joyner and Prof. Ashok Goel.
I am completing my PhD in Computer Science as a DoD SMART Scholar, with a mix of cognitive and neuro science under my advisor Dr. Virginia de Sa and my CS work is under Prof. Gary Cottrell. I completed my BS in EE at the University of Rochester.
My current research focuses on biologically inspired computer vision and perception. My work is in understanding the computational circuits that underlie robustness, adaptability and modeling.
